The collection has an easier difficulty setting for each game. It basically removes certain enemies. I would easily reccomend the collection. The remixed music is great and you can try Mega Man 3-6 before they hit the VC. I like Mega Man 5

@Supermario. I think it's midwestern/eastern states that call them flapjacks.
But then again, I live in Ohio and and I always hear people call them pancakes. :P

Edit: according to Wikipedia (what would I do without it?), a flapjacks are bigger and thinner than pancakes, and are crispier and chewier. Mmmmm... crispy and chewy flapjacks drools.

^^ yeah, "see an item, pick it up" no longer seems to apply. No more mad dashes for goodies without thinking too much about what it is you're picking up.

Just downloaded Bomberman. So far I am terrible at it and trying to figure out what all of the icons mean. Its faster then what I expected. I have not played any Wi-fi battles yet. I am still rusty and have not played Bomberman since I played Mega Bomberman on the Genesis

@ Cheezy, to play as your mii all you have to do is try out each of the 10 stages offline. you dont even have to win them and you get away with only having to play each one once.

As far as lag and D/C goes ive found it easier to find Continental than I do Worldwide games and the only games that I have experienced lag and d/c have been worldwide so far.

@Star Dust... aww c'mon there is no need to dump Bomberman '93. Think of it this way 93 has the story mode with classic multiplayer mode and Blast has cool online features and better multiplayer modes. Best of both worlds. I have both sat on my wii menu at the mo.

I would have downloaded this sooner than I did had I known what type of game it is. It strikes me as kind of a cross between Lode Runner and Lemmings. Interesting historical details in the review.

@SRPirate: Yes, DKBB's reviews are horrid and yet I'm so surprised at how much I enjoy it. I'll be doing Time Trial vids once my camera is fixed (i.e., I get batteries or my adapter arrives).

Oh and someone at BPlus tracked me down and commended me for my above comments of notable length! I'm glad they saw it. :)

I'm not sure about diving into this game impromptu (as in, without experience with any of the other Mega Man games.), due to all the talk about it's fiendish difficulty, so I'll go DL MM2 (I'd get the collection, but I haven't had the chance to do so) and play that for a while first.

By "over here", I hope you're referring to your city.
I've lived in Florida for a very long time, and I've never seen a pancake referred to as a "flapjack".
It must be something connected with certain states/regions.
But it's definitely NOT a universal American thing.

Yeah, pity Gamecube ports aren´t supported, I wanted to use my retroport for this too.

Compared to most games in the genre Mega Man 9 is hard, but not to extremes. With ot without weapons you still have to get through maliciously designed levels, but you can buy as many E-tanks you want. Since she shop provides averything from spike-proof boots to an item that makes you take half damage, difficulty can be ajusted.

Hopefully this allows everyone to have fun with MM9.

Yay, I've been waiting for Helix to show up in Europe too. This was an instant download on friday, been straining my poor arms ever since. I really enjoy it, don't have much chance to work out otherwise. I preordered Wii Fit, but while I'm waiting for it to be available in stores here, Helix will fill that gap :)

Mega Man 9 isn't that hard...you just have to get used to the weapons. :0 I still hate that gamecube controllers don't work...I was going to use my NES controller ;_; I can't wait to play as Protoman. That'll be a little bit more challenging.

Nope, Flapjacks are just another word for pancakes, over here anyways.

Even Demon212 liked this game, it's his #3 on his Top 10. Guess it's not as bad as some people think, just really niche.
