Nope not really for me, I mean he did remove half the human race and left earth in a apocalyptic state just so he could enjoy his old planet by himself.

I much prefer everyone on the hero/anti-hero side of marvel universe personally, I mean the Hulk is grumpy and gets annoyed with people but atleast he accepts it.

Obviously that's only my opinion, but that's how I view it. (Still everyone's entitled to there own perception)

@GemDoppler I'm all for the anti-hero making the hard choices for saving the universe, but Thanos' plan was just silly. The idea that just deleting half the population would somehow achieve peace is beyond naive. There have been wars since the dawn of time, and in eras were the population was far far less. Even assuming though, that it somehow it worked - it would be a temporary fix, because there is nothing stopping people from eventually repopulating and starting to fight again. Thanos also destroyed the stones, so he could not repeat the process in the future if he proved that lower population was all that it took.

I can respect Thanos as someone who fought for what he believed in, and was willing to sacrifice for his goals, but he was wrong. Almost laughably so. But they probably had to write him that way because he is the bad guy in a super hero series and ultimately he has to have some crippling flaw to the heroes can beat him and you don't feel too bad.
