Let's cut straight to the chase here - The Incredible Maze follows in the tradition of virtual labyrinth adaptations like Super Monkey Ball and Kororinpa, but utterly lacks any of the creativity or polish that make those games fun and rewarding. At a mere..
The Incredible Maze
The Incredible Maze (WiiWare)
Get lost in The Incredible Maze! Simply tilt your Wii Remote controller to navigate a series of exciting and twisted mazes. Entering the maze could not be easier, but finding your way out will require a keen eye and a steady hand. Obstacles and traps are around every corner, so move your ball around the maze without falling off the edge.
But watch out, there are lots of surprises in store. You can hunt for gems in a timed challenge, or test your abilities in a race against the clock. The Incredible Maze is also compatible with the Wii Balance Board, so you can really put your weight into it. This is the way in, but you'll have to find your own way out.

This WiiWare maze game certainly is incredible - incredibly bad, that is

This sounds awesome! Instant download for me ( and 500 points is a steal).
EDIT: never mind

Sounds interesting, but I'll wait for a review on this one.
EDIT: After looking at screenshots on the site posted in the USA WiiWare Update article, I think I'll pass. It looks like Shovelware!

sounds like Kororinpa.

Kororinpa ftw! lol.
Yeah, I'm gonna get it also. I really enjoy games like this and BB Support is a big plus!

Except Kororinpa isn't a maze. This could be just as fun though. I loved playing with those little labyrinth toys when I was a kid.
Versus22 (or anyone), could you post a link to pictures? I can't seem to find them.

What is incredible is that we've not heard anything of it until today.

This looks like a ton of fun! I love these kind of games and for only 500 WiiPoints you really can't go wrong.

I really didn't like the "roll-goal" mini-game in Zelda:Twilight Princess, but this looks like it might be fun.

This doesn't look all that great for me, even for just 500 wii points.

OMG PSone Net Yaroze flasback. Still looks like a laugh, though.

Oh my, that trailer looks great. If only there were some mention of a multiplayer mode or randomly generated mazes. Any info on how many incredible mazes there are?

This looks like total ass.
It looks like it was created by a first-year 3D modeling student.

Downloaded it this morning -- The game is actually fun and kinda challenging...I'm pleasantly surprised! Honestly...for 500 points just give it a download before slamming it.

i only have 500 points left... and i kind of want to download River City Ransom or Sonic on the Master System.... but now that this is out, I think I'll wait for a review before I make any purchases.

@accidental
Just like the Art Style games, this game relies on gameplay.
Seriously, who cares about graphics?
EDIT @ Mr. Cheez
Eh, I guess your sort of right

@Nintendork. Yes, but the Art Style games have a certain charm to their simplistic look. This looks like a low-budget PS1 game that some guy made in his basement.
As much as I like rolling-ball puzzle games, I'm giving this a pass.
I haven't found Roll Goal in TP yet. I stopped playing ever since I got stuck in the Gerudo Desert.

I used to have one of those ball-in-labyrinth toys, and I loved it; it may be the old graphics but this game really reminds me of it, for only 500, if the controls are fine, I'm definitely getting it.

meh, I'll wait for the next Art Style game

The graphics are poor, but the gameplay looks OK

Poor man's version of Mercury Meltdown Revolution, swapping Classic Controller support for the Balance Board. I'm actually interested. If it scores well, I may actually get this (along with the Sudoku game next month).

Or like Marble Madness from the Olden-Days. I might have to get this but I'll wait for a review or more user comments.

Here's a great, free PC game called Neverball which is like this: http://icculus.org/neverball/

Still there are mazes in Kororinpa...so if you don't want a full experience... get this. But I say, get Kororinpa because of the a.) 2 player race, b.) bonus balls, and c.) great control.

If this were to have PS1 graphics, it would have a ton of jaggies.

22 Oct 2008, 20:14 GMT
It looks okay, but for some reason I feel that this game isn't going to score higher than a 5.

@Apocalypse
Well, you were right with that prediction
32. Terranigma
23 Oct 2008, 15:31 GMT
Well, i guess when you don't even tell us anything before it's released, you know it's going to be crap. The Sudoku game doesn't look too bad though. I just hope Digital Leisure don't turn the service into ShovelWare heaven

That's not true. The Art Style games say hi. >_>
