Super Mario Bros. Wonder Walkthrough: All Badges & Badge Locations - Full List

Badges in Super Mario Wonder give you access to new moves, boosts, skills and plenty of assists to boot. They are essential, in other words, to discovering and exploring every nook and cranny of the game.

In total, there are 24 Badges to collect in the game.

Badges are sorted into Action, Boost, and Expert types. Action badges give you new skills, such as the Dolphin Kick or Parachute Cap. Boost badges provide helpful accessibility options such as the Auto Super Mushroom and Add (!) Blocks. Expert badges have a few fun and random, and these badges will require you to complete challenges in the post-game, once you've beaten everything for the first time!

So, let's take a look at where to find 'em all.

Action Badges

Boosting Spin Jump

  • Function: Press 'R' in midair to perform an additional mini-jump
  • Location: Complete the Petal Isles Challenge

Crouching High Jump

  • Function: Crouch to charge up a high jump
  • Location: Complete the Crouching High Jump trial in W4!

Dolphin Kick

  • Function: Get a burst of speed underwater by pressing 'R' or shaking the controller
  • Location: Badge Challenge in Petal Isles

Fast Dash

  • Function: Dash a little faster than usual. You'll walk a little faster too, even across sandy areas!
  • Location: Purchase 10 Flower Coins from the Poplin Shop in World 4!

Floating High Jump

Grappling Vine

  • Function: Press 'R' in midair to fire a vine out horizontally and pull yourself towards a wall from great distances
  • Location: Complete the Badge Challenge in World 5

Parachute Cap

Timed High Jump

  • Function: Time your jumps to jump even higher on each consecutive one
  • Location: Poplin Shop at Sunbaked Desert entrance

Wall-Climb Jump

  • Function: Press B to jump straight up against a wall
  • Location: Complete the W1 Wall-Climb Jump

Boost Badges

All Bubble Power

  • Function: Turn to Bubble form when you use any power-up
  • Location: Defeat Bowser

All Drill Power

  • Function: Turn to Drill form when you use any power-up
  • Location: Defeat Bowser

All Elephant Power

  • Function: Turn to Elephant form when you use any power-up
  • Location: Defeat Bowser

All Fire Power

  • Function: Turn to Fire form when you use any power-up
  • Location: Defeat Bowser

Add! Blocks

  • Function: Add extra blocks to stages
  • Location: Pick this one up at the Poplin Shop in Petal Isles

Auto Super Mushroom

  • Function: Start a stage with the Super-Mushroom power-up
  • Location: Get this for completing and winning the Wiggler Race Mountaineering in World 1

Coin Magnet

  • Function: Pull in nearby coins
  • Location: World 6 Poplin Shop

Coin Reward

  • Function: Net extra coins for killing enemies
  • Location: World 1 Poplin Shop

Rhythm Jump

Safety Bounce

  • Function: Gives you a chance if you fall into a pit, lava or other obstacle
  • Location: Poplin Shop at upper area of Fluff Puff Peaks

Sensor

  • Function: Detects nearby goodies
  • Location: World 5 - Repair Bridge/Miner Poplin

Expert Badges

Invisibility

Jet Run

Sound Off?

  • Changes many of the in-game SFX to vocalised versions
  • Location: Clear All Special Worlds
